The candidates should have a valid CEED score and a minimum of 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST) or equivalent grades in the qualifying examination, which are,

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design or equivalent (4 years duration after 10+2)
• Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT or equivalent of 4 years duration after 10+2)
• B.F.A. (4 year professional programme, after 10+2)
• G.D. Art (5 year programme after 10th) with one year post qualification, professional experience Master’s degree in Arts / Science / Computer Applications (2 year programme after 10+2+3)

Mtech Dec 2014 Online Application Procedure

Step 1
This Online M.Tech application portal is only for GATE qualified candidates.

Step 2
To apply online you must first register. Here is the link to the registration page.
If you have already registered, go to the login page.

Step 3
After logging in, you need to fill personal details and academic information which can be updated whenever you want until the last date. After filling personal details you will be redirected to the Applications Page for M.Tech. You can click on appropriate link in the Applications Page to UPDATE your personal details.

Step 4
In the Applications Page you can CREATE/UPDATE your department specific application by clicking on the link titled 'Click here to Create/Update Department specific Application.' and then selecting required department name.

Step 5
After filling the online application for a particular department click on appropriate link in the Applications Page to upload your challan and select the required department.

Step 6
After uploading challan for a particular department click on appropriate link in the Applications Page to upload your Gate Score card and select the required department.

Step 7
One can apply to several departments. For each department you want to apply you have to pay the application fee for each department and repeat the above steps from step 3 to step 6.

Step 8
You can take print out of your Application and keep it with you for your reference.

Step 9
Please note that in the online application please enter GATE SCORE valid in Jan 2015.

Application Fee

Download the challan by Clicking here and pay the fee in the bank. The Application fee is 400/- for General/OBC category and 200/- for SC/ST category. Upload the scanned copy of your bank challan by clicking the link provided in Main Forms Page.
